Healing is always from the Lord, and I thank Him for it. Nine weeks ago I was on morphine and nerve blocking medication. But now the pain is gone. The muscle spasms are gone. The feeling in my fingers is mostly returned, and the strength in my arm is slowly increasing.

Since the initial injury I have had a second consultation with a spinal surgeon, and he was very helpful. The disc degeneration in my neck remains, but he is happy to wait and review the situation again next year. It is likely that I will need neck surgery at some point in the next few years, but there are good options. For now, the body is accommodating and I am able to function at 90%.
