In kindergarten I stole a toothpaste box. No one saw. No one knew. I was never caught. But over the next few days God’s Spirit convinced my heart I was wrong, and so began my awareness of sin and my need of Christ. Within the next year I got saved!

Jesus loved children, and in missions we must make much of them as well. When we reach children with Jesus Christ, we touch the next several generations! Here are some recent ways God has allowed us to minister to the little ones.

  • Children’s Worship is part of every Sunday’s service, where an object lesson is given to illustrate the morning’s message.

  • Local school assemblies are fantastic opportunities weekly and monthly to share the gospel.

  • During a recent baby dedication, we asked God’s blessing for the little one, and encouraged the family to walk with God.

  • In January I had the privilege of baptizing my second son! What a joy to watch him grow and place faith in Christ.

God is working in eMalahleni. God is using Faith Baptist Church, our present church plant, to be heavily involved in missions and pastoral training. The church is a flourishing multi-cultural ministry; supporting eight Southern Africa church planters, assisting directly in two church plants, sending out missionaries, and training pastors.

During our three terms of service our support has dwindled and we are urgently seeking to strengthen our partner base. We are asking the Lord provide additional partners in ministry over the next twelve months.

Please pray for us as we prepare to return to the USA for a short furlough for meetings with new partners, and to report back and encourage churches who have stood with us these many years!
